About Job Today
Job Today is a mobile app for hourly and shift work, used most in Spain, the UK, the US, and Luxembourg. Candidates apply in a few taps and talk to employers by chat. To publish through Join, you need your own Job Today employer account with posting credits and a client secret from your Job Today account manager.
Candidates keep a profile in the app that lists their work experience, and they apply from their phone instead of sending a CV. Job Today groups its jobs into hospitality, retail, delivery, care, events, administration, and more, on full-time, part-time, casual, and student terms. Employers and candidates then talk in the app's chat. That suits a vacancy a manager wants filled this week: weekend waiting staff, a seasonal shop assistant, a delivery driver.
A role that asks for a degree, a licence, or a long track record does better next to a board where candidates search by job title and keep a full CV, or a professional network for salaried positions. Outside Job Today's core markets, where its candidate pool is thinner, the public employment service and a regional hospitality board reach the same kind of candidate.
