Variable at OTE€18,000 – €30,000

Gross fixed salary per year for a mid-level Account Executive (3 to 7 years, of which 2 to 4 in autonomous B2B closing) at a German SMB. SaaS scale-up profiles in Berlin or Munich trend toward the top of the range (60-80 k€ fixed); classic Mittelstand sales profiles (industry, wholesale, services) sit closer to 42-55 k€. The variable component is on top (see Variable compensation). Note: the Account Executive title is not yet established everywhere in Germany; many companies advertise the same role as Vertriebsmitarbeiter:in B2B or Sales Consultant.
