Create job ads with AI in Job Studio

Every role needs something different from its job ad, but a standard form asks the same questions every time. Creating a job in Join now happens in Job Studio, a guided flow that adapts to the role you’re hiring for and uses AI to help you write and review your ad. You answer what matters for the role, use the suggestions that help, and publish a complete ad that’s ready for candidates and job boards.
Choose how to create your job
Start from scratch, duplicate a past job, or paste in an ad you’ve written somewhere else. Job Studio picks out the details and turns them into a structured job. The flow then guides you step by step and only shows the fields that matter for this role.

Follow a flow that fits your job
Creating a job used to mean a long form and empty description boxes. You filled in every field, wrote the ad yourself and hoped it met each job board’s rules. Now you answer a few guided questions about the role, and AI writes the ad, suggests a salary range, and checks for missing details, conflicting information, and posting-policy issues before publication.

Set pay with market data
Get salary range suggestions based on the role and the location. You decide whether to display the range on the ad so candidates can see the proposed pay.

Configure the hiring process
Job Studio sets up more than just the job ad. Add benefits, invite your hiring team with their roles and choose the hiring pipeline for new applications, all in the same flow.
Ask candidates the right questions upfront
Build an application form for each job so the answers you need arrive with the application, not three emails later. Ready-made questions cover availability, work authorisation for the job’s country and salary expectations. On Advanced and Enterprise plans, add custom questions as yes/no, single choice, multiple choice, number, date, short text, or file upload. Set them to ‘Optional’ or ‘Required’, or use ‘Knockout’ for supported answer types. Short text and file uploads cannot be knockout questions.
For example:
- “Do you have a valid working visa?” as a yes/no knockout, so anyone who answers “No” is rejected automatically
- “Which shifts can you work?” as multiple choice, so you see who fits before the first call
- “When can you start?” as a date, to spot who’s available in time

Write, refine and review your ad with AI
AI writes the first draft from your input, your company information and your previous job ads, so the ad sounds like your company and not a template. Edit it freely in the preview, before or after publishing. You can also use the Ask AI bar to ask about the ad, or highlight a sentence to make it shorter or longer or change the tone.

Before the ad goes live, AI review checks it for things like:
- Gaps and details that contradict what you set up in the flow
- Gendered, age-coded or ableist language, with more inclusive alternatives
- Issues that would break a job board’s posting rules
