Talent.com is a large international job aggregator, collecting vacancies from across the web into one search. What the four paid rungs cost on each of its two country price maps, which to buy, and where aggregator reach stops being enough.

What Talent.com is, and what a posting costs

Talent.com is an international job aggregator. It collects vacancies from company career pages and other boards and republishes them in one searchable place, across a long list of countries; its own homepage says it carries more than 40 million listings. Both routes onto it run through Join — an International organic listing at no media cost, and a paid posting bought per vacancy rather than per contract.

A thirty-day Student posting costs €50 in France, Italy or Spain, which is the lowest paid entry point anywhere in this catalogue. Nothing else here puts a paid ad on a real board for less. Above it, those same three markets carry Small at €100 for fourteen days, Medium at €150 for thirty, and Large at €250 for sixty.

Then the map changes. Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States buy the identical four products at exactly double: Student €100, Small €200, Medium €300, Large €500. The names and the runtimes are identical and the invoice is double. If you are filling one role in Spain and one in Germany this quarter, the Medium posting you book for each is the same product at €150 and at €300.

A worldwide single posting sits outside both maps at €100 for thirty days, with no country group attached.

Which rung to buy

In France, Italy and Spain, choose on runtime rather than on budget — the rungs sit too close together for the money to be the deciding factor. Medium’s thirty days is the working default. Small’s fourteen are short for an aggregator, where a listing builds its position instead of launching with one, and a fortnight often ends the week the ad finally starts showing up consistently. Large’s sixty days is for the vacancy you already suspect will be slow. Student is not a cut-down Small: it is the longer product at half the price, and for a graduate or entry-level role it is simply the right one.

North of that line the arithmetic changes. At €300 a Medium posting is no longer a cheap experiment, and it is worth pricing a national board first — for that money you reach people who went somewhere specific to look. The worldwide posting at €100 is the one to reach for when a remote role has no country to anchor it to.

Where cheap reach stops being cheap

Those 40 million listings are postings collected and republished from across the web, not an audience that came looking for yours, and that distinction is the whole limitation. Your vacancy lands in a very large pile, and what the paid rungs buy is a better position inside the pile rather than a different kind of visitor.

So the cheap rung earns its place where the problem is volume and not scarcity: hospitality and support roles that need a steady flow of applications, entry-level hiring with a wide pool, a market you have no channel history in and want to read without committing. It earns nothing on the senior, confidential or narrowly specialised search — the person you want there is not scrolling an aggregator — and nothing where a smaller national board reaches the same people with clearer intent. An ad that produces nothing is expensive at any price, and the floor here is low enough that the mistake is an easy one to repeat.

What it costs

Two ladders share four product names. Student, Small, Medium and Large each exist once for France, Italy and Spain and once for Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, the UK and the US, and the second set is exactly double the first. Read the market before the rung — the name will not warn you. A worldwide single posting sits outside both maps and carries no country group at all.

How to post a job to Talent.com

  1. Write the vacancy once in Join.
  2. Publish the vacancy. Because Talent.com supports organic distribution, Join sends it there organically by default as part of your Join subscription.
  3. Talent.com receives the ad and publishes it on its own schedule.
  4. Applications land in your Join pipeline alongside those from every other channel.

Who it suits

students and graduates, customer support, operations, sales and hospitality roles do best here.

It is a generalist, so it will take a vacancy from any field — but those are the families where the audience runs deepest, and where an ad has the best chance of being seen by someone qualified to answer it.

Posting via Join

Talent.com is one of the 10+ organic boards Join distributes to at no extra cost. Publish once in Join and the ad appears there alongside every other channel you have selected.

Both routes onto Talent.com run through Join: an International organic listing goes out at no media cost, and a paid rung is a decision you make per vacancy rather than per contract. Which of the two country price maps applies follows from the market you are hiring in, and it is settled at booking rather than by you.

Talent.com supports Quick Apply, so candidates apply in one click without leaving the board — worth up to 3x the applications of a standard click-through ad.

Questions

Why does the same posting cost twice as much in Germany as in Spain?
Because Talent.com prices by country group rather than by product. France, Italy and Spain sit in one group; Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, the UK and the US in the other, and the second group runs at exactly double across all four products. The product name is identical either way, so nothing in it tells you which map you are on.
Does 'more than 40 million listings' mean my ad reaches 40 million people?
No. That is Talent.com's own count of the postings it aggregates from across the web — inventory, not audience — and it is phrased as a floor rather than an exact figure. What it tells you is how deep the pile is, which is an argument about position rather than presence.
Is there a route with no media cost?
Yes. International organic distribution runs through Join at no media cost, and it is the sensible first move. The paid rungs are for the point at which being present has stopped producing applications.
Do I need my own Talent.com account?
No. Join holds the contract with Talent.com, so you post from your Join account and never set one up.
Is posting on Talent.com cheaper through Join?
There is nothing to compare: distribution to Talent.com is included in your Join plan, so the ad costs you nothing on top.
