Post directly from a real LinkedIn member account or manage the vacancy in Join. After a one-time Company Page URL setup, Join automatically sends every published job to LinkedIn organically—there is no LinkedIn channel to select. Paid promotion and own-contract distribution remain available when the employer needs them.

How to publish directly on LinkedIn

LinkedIn's direct flow starts from an individual member account, not from the company page itself. Have the final description, company page, application destination, screening criteria and promotion decision ready. Employers with contracted job slots use LinkedIn Recruiter instead of the standard Jobs flow.

  1. Sign in with a real member profile, open Jobs and select Post a job. If LinkedIn presents affiliated contract options, choose the correct posting account before continuing.
  2. Enter the job title, associate the correct LinkedIn company page and either paste the approved description or use LinkedIn's drafting assistant as a starting point.
  3. Check the job details carefully, including workplace type, location, employment type and any compensation information required or useful in the target market.
  4. Configure screening questions and rejection settings. Mark only genuine must-haves as knockout criteria, because LinkedIn can automatically reject candidates whose answers do not qualify.
  5. Choose whether applications stay in LinkedIn or continue to an external application page, add the notification email, then define must-have and preferred qualifications.
  6. Review the advert and choose Post without promoting or Promote job. For promotion, confirm the budget, payment method and order summary before publishing.

How to publish on LinkedIn through Join

Join's organic LinkedIn distribution is automatic after a one-time setup. A free LinkedIn account is enough—no LinkedIn contract or publishing agreement is required.

  1. Use a free LinkedIn account and enter your company's LinkedIn Company Page URL once in Join settings. LinkedIn requires the URL to associate automatic postings with the correct employer page.
  2. Create and publish the vacancy in Join. Once setup is complete, Join automatically sends every published job to LinkedIn organically; there is no LinkedIn channel to select.
  3. Track the live LinkedIn posting URL, publication status and any board-reported error directly from the vacancy in Join.
  4. Create, update or remove the posting in Join. Changes usually take effect on LinkedIn in under a minute.
  5. Receive Quick Apply applications in the same Join pipeline as applications from every other channel.

Organic distribution — included by default

After the LinkedIn Company Page URL has been entered once in Join settings, Join sends every published vacancy to LinkedIn organically by default. This applies to the employer's full portfolio of live jobs, without a separate LinkedIn media purchase or the one-active-job limit of LinkedIn's eligible direct free route. LinkedIn still applies its normal content and policy checks.

Publish with your LinkedIn contract

Employers with an eligible LinkedIn contract can connect that agreement to Join and publish against their existing inventory. The hiring team creates and manages the vacancy in Join, while LinkedIn continues to govern the contract, available slots and billing. Prefer this route when the company already pays for committed inventory.

Add paid promotion

For additional reach, book a LinkedIn paid product from the vacancy in Join. Choose the product and duration, then keep the publication status, live URL, delivery errors, updates and closure in Join. Paid promotion increases distribution; it does not replace a clear title, complete advert or LinkedIn's policy review.

Questions

Can a company page post a LinkedIn job by itself?
No. A real member account creates the advert and associates it with the company page. Recruiter contracts use their own posting route.
Can an employer post a job on LinkedIn for free?
Yes. Once the LinkedIn Company Page URL has been entered in Join settings, Join automatically sends every published job to LinkedIn organically, without a separate LinkedIn media purchase. LinkedIn's eligible direct free route is generally limited to one active job; with Join, the employer's full portfolio of live vacancies benefits from organic LinkedIn distribution.
Can Join publish under an employer's LinkedIn contract?
Yes. Once the contract integration is configured, Join can distribute into it so the employer keeps its negotiated inventory and centralises the vacancy workflow.
How quickly do changes made in Join appear on LinkedIn?
Creating, updating or removing a LinkedIn posting in Join usually takes effect in under a minute. A separate LinkedIn policy review can take longer.
Can a LinkedIn job post be edited after publishing?
Yes, but LinkedIn restricts changes to fields such as the company and application collection method after publication. Manage a direct post in LinkedIn or Recruiter and a Join-distributed post in Join.
Where do applications go when LinkedIn is published through Join?
They return to the vacancy in Join and appear in the same hiring pipeline as applications from the other selected channels. Direct LinkedIn posts follow the application destination chosen during setup.
