Gross fixed salary per year for an Accountant (Finanzbuchhalter:in) with 5 to 10 years of experience at a German SMB. Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg and Hesse trend upward (+5 to +10 %); eastern Germany and rural regions trend downward. Profiles with deep DATEV skills or a payroll specialization trend upward. Certified accountants (Bilanzbuchhalter:in, with the IHK exam) sit one level higher (50-70 k€) and should be treated as a separate role. No structural variable component.
