About GOODJOBS

GOODJOBS is a German job board for organisations whose work aims to benefit society or the environment. Before any company’s jobs go live, its team reviews the employer against five sustainability categories drawn from the UN Sustainable Development Goals and a list of exclusion criteria. Candidates then search across professions and career levels, from internships to leadership.

Companies that pass the review are listed in two tiers. A GoodCompany builds its whole business around at least one of the five goals, for example protecting the environment, helping people or passing on knowledge. A Company breaks no exclusion criterion and may name up to two goals it plans to reach. Job seekers narrow results by profession, sector, employment type, experience and sustainability goal.

Treat GOODJOBS as the channel for people who pick an employer by its mission. A nonprofit or social enterprise can add a second impact-sector board with its own NGO audience. When a vacancy has to be filled on the function first, run an occupational or generalist board alongside it.

GOODJOBS FAQ

Which employers are a good fit for GOODJOBS?
Organisations that pass GOODJOBS’ own review. Its team checks every company against five sustainability categories based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals, such as protecting the environment or making society fairer, and against exclusion criteria that include arms, corruption and lobbying. A company still working towards those goals can be listed if it breaks no exclusion criterion.
Does GOODJOBS only list sustainability specialists?
No. The sustainability test applies to the employer, not to the job title. GOODJOBS runs job categories for HR, marketing, IT and project management alongside working-student roles, and its employer page covers everything from internships to leadership positions.
Which GOODJOBS package should I choose?
Medium suits a role that active job seekers will find: job alerts, distribution to partner portals and one refresh. Large adds the weekly GOODJOBS newsletter and homepage visibility; GOODJOBS files the newsletter under reaching passive candidates, so choose Large when the people you need are not searching right now. X-Large is for hard-to-fill roles, with maximum promotion, the longest runtime of the three and repeated refreshes that push the listing back up the results.
Do I need my own GOODJOBS account?
No. Join publishes to GOODJOBS for you, so you post from your Join account and never set one up.
