About Vacatureland
Vacatureland is a Dutch vacancy platform, founded in 2002 by S. Reuzer according to its own FAQ, and the network behind the ‘vac’ niche sites. The FAQ counts more than 500 employers, from small businesses to large organisations, and 30 specialist niche sites. Vacatureland.nl itself carries vacancies from all over the Netherlands, searchable by function, location and sector.
Candidates on Vacatureland.nl are not pre-sorted by trade. The FAQ says they search by function, location and sector and apply directly through the platform, so state all three plainly in the opening lines. Since 2021 the family business has been led by Valentine Reuzer, whose note on the about page says each vacancy should let job seekers see whether an organisation suits them before they apply; a completed employer profile is the way to meet that.
The niche sites are the natural pairing: a vacancy with a clear sector can run on Vacatureland and on the matching site, Retailvac or Foodvac for example, at the same time. For a job tied to one province, the network’s regional sites (Utrechtvac, Gelderlandvac, Zuidhollandvac, Noordhollandvac) cover the place rather than the trade.
