About Medienjobs
Medienjobs has connected Swiss companies with communication, marketing and media professionals since 1998, run by a small team in Zurich at dpi Publishing Service AG. Its jobs fall into seven occupational groups, from prepress and print to journalism and radio, TV and film production, and the team checks every ad by hand.
Candidates filter by region, from Greater Zurich, Bern and Basel to western Switzerland, Ticino and the German-speaking parts of Germany and Austria, then by occupational group, contract type and workload percentage. Contract types range from full- and part-time posts to internships, trainee and editorial-trainee places, temporary assignments and apprenticeships. The site reports more than 60,000 visitors a month.
Medienjobs already takes each ad beyond its own pages: by the next day it also runs in a publication network of trade media and partner sites, which the site says reaches people who are not actively looking. For web development and other IT-heavy roles, the operator's second platform, built for the Swiss IT sector, is the closer fit. When a role could be filled from any sector, add a general Swiss job board.
