The German-language hospitality board for hotels, restaurants and catering: one paid product, Germany and Austria only, and a straight answer on which vacancies belong here.
Who is on it
HOGAPAGE sells exactly one paid product, a 30-day Premium listing at €269, and sells it for Germany and Austria only. The readership behind that price is German-language hospitality trade: cooks and chefs de partie, service and bar staff, reception and front office, housekeeping supervisors, canteen and contract-catering managers, and the operations people who move between all of them over a career.
Two numbers this page will not give you are how many people read the board and how many vacancies are live on it. HOGAPAGE has made audience claims in the past, but they came from its own media kit with nothing behind them a buyer could check, and the site itself showed no live vacancy total anywhere on 12 August 2026. An unverifiable number is worse than none, so the case for this board rests on who it is for rather than how big it is.
When it beats a generalist
A sous-chef in Salzburg is not scrolling a national job board built around office work. Neither is a restaurant manager, a receptionist a year out of training, or the person running a hospital kitchen. They read the trade press of their own industry, in their own language, and a vacancy posted here arrives without several thousand office roles competing for the same attention.
So the useful question is not whether €269 is cheap in the abstract. It is whether 30 days in front of a hospitality readership produces applications a generalist would not, and for a kitchen, front-of-house or hotel operations role in Germany or Austria it usually does.
Skip it when the role is not hospitality. A controller, a marketing manager or a systems administrator at a hotel group belongs on a generalist, even though the employer is a hotel. Skip it when the role sits outside Germany and Austria, since the paid listing is not sold anywhere else and a restaurant in Lyon or Barcelona gains nothing from a German-language trade audience. And go in knowing what a single product means: when 30 days pass without a hire, there is no larger package to escalate to. Your next lever is a different board, not more money on this one.
What it costs
One paid product with nothing above it. There is no ladder to climb and no upgrade to weigh, so the decision is binary: either the vacancy belongs in front of a hospitality readership in Germany or Austria, or no amount of budget on this board will move it.

How to post a job to HOGAPAGE
- Write the vacancy once in Join.
- Publish the vacancy. Because HOGAPAGE supports organic distribution, Join sends it there organically by default as part of your Join subscription.
- HOGAPAGE receives the ad and publishes it on its own schedule.
- Applications land in your Join pipeline alongside those from every other channel.
Who it suits
hospitality and operations roles do best here.
It is a specialised board, and that cuts both ways: inside those families the audience is unusually well matched, and outside them there is little point posting at all.
Posting via Join
HOGAPAGE is one of the 10+ organic boards Join distributes to at no extra cost. Publish once in Join and the ad appears there alongside every other channel you have selected.
Join distributes to HOGAPAGE organically, so a hospitality vacancy reaches the board at no media cost, and the single paid Premium listing can be added from the same posting flow when the organic listing has not filled the role.
