Multiposting
Multiposting distributes one job ad from a shared source to multiple selected job boards or other recruitment destinations through a service or recruiting system.
The service sends a maintained ad to chosen destinations; each destination can apply its own format, eligibility rules and publication checks.
Send one maintained ad to selected destinations
Multiposting uses a service or recruiting system to distribute a job ad from one source to multiple job boards or other recruitment destinations. It avoids re-entering the same role separately for each selected destination. Some workflows also return applications to a shared system, but that is a product capability rather than part of the term’s definition.

Keep distribution separate from sourcing
Multiposting distributes an employer’s ad. Sourcing is the broader work of finding and contacting potential candidates, including people who have not applied. Teams may use both, but one does not imply the other.
Each destination still has its own rules
Distribution does not mean simultaneous publication or acceptance everywhere. A board may set its own location, industry or content rules, and may change the ad’s presentation. A sent listing can be pending, rejected or later removed. Check the status for each destination and use its stated requirements when resolving an issue.
