Events Coordinator Responsibilities

• Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders, depending on the purpose of the event, and identify the client’s requirements.
• Work with PR and Events teams to plan, organise and execute events such as product launches, marketing events, company celebrations, conferences and exhibitions.
• Research and book vendors based on budget, quality and creativity.
• Book personnel to help with the event such as registration, set-up, audio/visual etc.
• Manage the set-up and tearing down of all events.
• Book and liaise with venues, speakers, photographers, catering, and any other relevant contractors.
• Maintain a working relationship with vendors, contractors and stakeholders.
• Assess the events’ overall success, analyse and submit findings, and improve event plans consistently according to those findings.
• Work with the Content and Design teams to create marketing materials and promotional materials for the events.

Events Coordinator Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as an Event Manager/Coordinator or similar.
• Experience in the Hospitality industry or Public Relations would be beneficial.
• Proven track record of successful creative and educational events.
• Impeccable organisation skills and a great ability to work on several projects at once.
• As the nature of the role is people oriented, you should have great communication skills.
• Ability to negotiate with companies and vendors.
• Passionate about the events industry with an interest in using events to improve our brand identity and awareness to increase sales.
• Experience working with budgets.
