Real Estate Agent Job Ad Template

Spot the difference

If you want to write the perfect job ad, it’s important to know the details of the role you’re writing about down to the details. Do you know what it is a Real Estate Agent does? And what is the difference between a Sales Engineer and a Sales Manager?

To keep it brief, a Real Estate Agent is a salesperson who specialises in connecting those selling homes with them buying them. A Sales Engineer is an individual with specific technical knowledge, which they use to sell a product or software. Finally, a Sales Manager is a senior salesperson who leads a team of Sales Associates or Assistants.

  • Real Estate Agents work with both clients who are looking to sell their property and customers who are looking to buy property. They have expert knowledge in the selling points of homes and buildings and work closely with keeping buyers and sellers happy.
  • Sales Engineers are a type of salesperson who has a high level of specific technical knowledge, they work closely with product development teams to gain intricate insights on a software or product, and use this to help sell it.
  • Sales Managers are senior members of the sales team who help lead the Sales Assistants, Associates and other members in terms of sales strategy and action plans.
  • A Sales Associate is often the person who will be responsible for liaising with potential customers, they will be answering each and every question a potential customer may have and ensuring they rave about any USPs of the product they’re selling.
