A leading company is seeking a Business Development Specialist (BDS) to drive B2C sales and expand its Dutch market presence. This role is perfect for a sales-driven, strategic professional with a strong background in 360 outbound sales, client acquisition, and market expansion. Tasks
- Drive new customer acquisition by selling and advising on the client's innovative services to freelancing professionals.
- Develop, manage, and expand a portfolio of prospective clients through targeted lead generation and follow-up.
- Lead the complete 360° sales cycle for the Dutch market, encompassing prospecting, cold calling, solution demonstrations, and deal closure.
- Analyse client needs and offer tailored solutions, ensuring a high-quality client experience from initial engagement to contract negotiation and closing.
- Build strong client relationships across designated regions, actively contributing to client retention and satisfaction.
- Partner with internal teams to align service delivery and fulfil client expectations.
Requirements
- Native level of Dutch a plus
- Full Professional level of English
- Experience as a recruiter with a 360 approach or Sales Experience
- Background in agency recruitment, particularly in technology and consulting sectors (e.g., software engineers, marketing consultants, etc.)
- Expertise in handling profiles from the tech landscape and understanding the dynamics of freelance work
- Excellent relationship management skills and ability to act as a trusted advisor for clients and candidates
- Proactive, with the ability to generate leads independently (strong outbound approach, networking, and event participation)
- Ability to engage with and negotiate with potential clients, understanding labour laws, taxes, and freelance-related regulations
- Comfortable working in an international, flexible, and dynamic environment
