Associate Allied Chemicals has been delivering ingredient solutions for the fragrance, flavor, food and personal care industries for over 45 years. As we expand our presence, we looking for a motivated Business Development - Export to become a part of our team.
We are looking for a performance-driven, customer-centric individual with a strong work ethic and communication skills to join our team as Business Development - Export.
Compensation: The monthly salary for this position is between Rs. 45,000 and Rs. 55,000, based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
Tasks
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Work with existing customers to grow the business and find new avenues for new product and business development with persistent and organized
- Conduct market research and build networks to find new customer opportunities
- Provide insights and market intelligence to the leadership team to inform strategic decision-making.
- Follow customer requests, sampling and new project development
- Represent the company in Business fairs, conferences, tradeshows
- Negotiate shipping contracts and freight forwarding agreements
- Monitor international regulations and compliance requirements
- Address customer inquiries and complaints
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of projects and delivery of services to clients.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and mitigate potential risks
- Develop and maintain export databases, records and reports
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback
- Able to navigate cultural and legal differences and expectations of foreign customers and partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s of Commerce / Bachelor's of Technology
- Motivated individual with past Sales Experience in B2B segment
- 2 years of experience in export sales in chemicals
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills and ability to build relationships with international customers
- Customer centric attitude and positive spirit
- Organised and able to work in fast paced environment autonomously
- Strong MS Office skills
- Big ideas and persistent curiosity
