Copywriting support in fast-growing startup

At Vicoland, we give the gig economy a new dimension: Virtual Companies, in short: “Vicos”. We invented Vicos to allow freelancers to team up and act as if they were a real company, competing successfully for interesting, large projects.

Our SaaS platform provides all the tech which enables the collaboration of Vicos and their clients & a marketplace that matches them together.

Our Vicos are already transforming how digital projects are done - since our launch last year, they worked with several world-renowned clients and partners such as Netflix, Smart, Samsung, Tupperware, BectonDickinson, HDI and Colliers. We were mentioned by Forbes and Forrester as the leading marketplace for freelance teams.

We are currently facing a growth stage where our demand jumps by 20% month over month, and are focusing on building best-in-class Vicos to meet this demand.

To support our team in meeting this challenge, we are looking for Copywriting support enabling us to create profiles for our Vicos so we can introduce them to our clients.

We're a team of 40+ people located across Europe and the US.

• Our Vicos are introduced to clients through our Vico profiles. This is a key document based on which our clients determine whether they want to work with a Vico. You will be responsible for creating and writing these profiles based on established best practices.
• We custom-built technology (Vicoland platform incl. AI-tools that create draft profiles) to support you in writing. You will collaborate daily with our product team to further improve our tech to make your copywriting more efficient.
• You will be in direct contact with our Vicos and our Business Development to gather feedback and implement changes in their profiles to best present them to clients.

• Excellent writing skills. What you write will directly be presented to our clients and needs to be of the highest quality standards.
• You need to be both fluent in English and in German.
• Relentless eye for detail - a single word can make or break a profile.
• Responsiveness - creating a profile or requests to adapt occur regularly on an hourly basis. You need to be able to respond and implement requests fast and need to be available throughout our regular office hours (09:00-18:00).
• Hands-on mentality.
• Industry knowledge of IT-consulting is a big plus. Especially if you're familiar with SAP Services since most of our Vicos consist of SAP experts.
• Affinity of working with digital tools. Make your job easier by further improving our technology.
