We are looking for a Chief Manufacturing Officer (CMO) to lead and optimize manufacturing, procurement, and supply chain operations for our waste-to-energy equipment in Slovakia. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in industrial manufacturing, supply chain management, and process optimization, with a strong track record in large-scale production leadership. Expertise in lean manufacturing, ERP/MRP systems, and cross-functional team management is essential to drive efficiency and align operations with business objectives.
Tasks
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring high-quality and cost-efficient production;
- Develop and implement lean manufacturing strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste;
- Manage procurement and supplier relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery of materials;
- Optimize supply chain and logistics, from raw material sourcing to final product distribution;
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards;
- Lead and develop high-performing manufacturing and supply chain teams;
- Collaborate with PMO, R&D, Engineering, and Sales teams to align production with business goals;
- Manage budgets, cost control measures, and capital investment plans;
- Implement risk management strategies to enhance supply chain resilience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Power Engineering, or a related field;
- 10+ years of experience in industrial manufacturing, preferably in chemical or power generation equipment, renewable energy, or heavy engineering sectors;
- Strong expertise in manufacturing, procurement, supply chain management, and contract negotiations;
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and lean manufacturing methodologies;
- Proven leadership experience in managing large-scale manufacturing operations and cross-functional teams;
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
