We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager specializing in food retail shopfitting to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of retail projects within the food industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of shopfitting projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Tasks

Project Planning and Management:

  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for food retail shopfitting projects.

  • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and subcontractors, to align project objectives and expectations.

  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

Site Management:

  • Oversee on-site operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards.

  • Schedule and manage construction activities, ensuring resources are properly allocated and milestones are met.

  • Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.

Client Liaison:

  • Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns.

  • Gather feedback from clients and incorporate it into project development and execution.

Financial Management:

  • Monitor project budgets, ensuring expenditures remain within allocated limits.

  • Prepare financial reports and forecasts for project stakeholders.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead a team of design, construction, and installation professionals, providing direction and support throughout the project.

  • Foster a collaborative work environment, encouraging team members to contribute ideas and solutions.

Quality Control:

  • Conduct inspections and quality assurance checks at various stages of the project.

  • Ensure all work is completed to the specified quality standards and client requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Design, or a related field.

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in project management within the food retail or shopfitting industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and shopfitting techniques specific to the food retail sector.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, or similar).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Languages: French and English
