Our client, a global compay HQ'd in Fribourg, is looking for a Sustainability Coordinator for a perm and onsite role.
As the Sustainability Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
Regulatory and legal monitoring:
o Analyzing and monitoring developments in CSRD and ESRS regulations.
o Guiding teams on CSRD/ESRS requirements.
o Monitoring guidance documents relating to the application of standards published by EFRAG.
o Monitoring publications from key stakeholders such as ESMA, CSSF, GRI, etc., and determining the applicability of practices and recommendations
Development and assessment of dual materiality:
o Conduct the ESG assessment from a financial perspective, in collaboration with the CFO, internal teams, and the management of selected subsidiaries.
o Analyze the results to formulate recommendations on key ESG issues and present them to management.
Prepare and implement the CSRD sustainability reporting strategy:
o Analyze data to assess the materiality and availability of information.
o Contribute to improving data collection and analysis processes with relevant teams.
o Coordinate the preparation of the CSRD report.
o Provide guidance on the development of ESG KPIs and objectives.
o Organize and oversee ESG data reporting in collaboration with relevant teams to collect and structure the necessary information.
o Define short- and long-term sustainability objectives and provide strategic recommendations. o Ensure the quality and accuracy of ESG data with subsidiaries.
CSRD Audit Monitoring:
o Maintain close collaboration with the audit team, providing necessary documentation and providing additional explanations as needed.
o Work with the financial consolidation team to ensure the consistency and compliance of information in the report.
Education: Master's degree in law, sustainable development, or a multidisciplinary program with a legal background. A specialization in regulatory compliance or CSR is a plus.
Minimum 2 years in a similar role in ESG compliance, CSR reporting, or non-financial auditing, ideally in an international environment.
Proficiency in CSRD and ESRS standards and ESG reporting practices.
Experience in collecting and analyzing ESG data.
Excellent analytical and synthesis skills.
Fluent in French and English (C1 minimum).
Excellent writing skills.
Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
