RULEMATCH Europe AG is seeking a Sales and Business Development Manager. In this role, you will drive sales activities across the European market and oversee the onboarding of new participants. The position requires a dynamic and strategic approach to expanding our client base and fostering strong relationships, coupled with a deep understanding of financial markets and digital asset trading. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales and Business Development, you will play a key role in driving the growth and realizing RULEMATCH's vision in digital finance.
RULEMATCH Europe AG, based in Liechtenstein, is a 100% subsidiary of RULEMATCH AG, headquartered in Zurich. Presence in our offices in Vaduz and Zurich is expected. The role also requires regular business travel within Europe, UK, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein.
Tasks
- Responsible for sales and client acquisition across the European region with a focus on institutional clients in the digital assets and financial markets sectors
- Manage and optimize the entire onboarding process from initial contact to the final integration on the RULEMATCH platform
- Conduct market analysis, identify trends and growth opportunities, and pursue new business to maximize RULEMATCH’s market reach in Europe
- Collaborate closely with Business Development, Legal, Compliance, and Technical teams to ensure new client requirements are met and regulatory standards are upheld
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans in coordination with the Director of Sales and Business Development to achieve company objectives
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, analyze key metrics, and adjust strategies as needed to meet targets and improve sales processes
- Represent RULEMATCH at industry events and conferences to enhance brand visibility and business development.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales and business development within the financial services or digital assets sector, with a focus on institutional clients
- Strong knowledge of digital assets, trading platforms, and traditional financial markets, ideally with experience in the European market
- Demonstrated ability to lead client acquisition efforts and manage onboarding processes effectively
- Excellent communication skills in both English and German, written and spoken; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage
- Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze market trends and develop targeted sales strategies
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with technical, legal, compliance, and business development teams
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the financial or digital assets industry
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus
