Senior Legal Counsel

RULEMATCH is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel whose role will be to manage all legal matters of the company and be responsible for compliance with laws and regulations in the area of financial market law, reporting to the COO.

A passionate Senior Legal Counsel will be given the opportunity and authority to thrive in a dynamic and developing regulatory environment where their contribution is valued as absolutely critical to success.

• Manage all legal matters of the company;
• Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations in the area of financial market law;
• Drafting, negotiating and reviewing a range of commercial agreements;
• Drafting and implementing policies and processes;
• Monitoring of regulatory developments in relevant jurisdictions and assessing their impacts;
• Managing the cooperation with regulators, external legal partners and auditors;
• Supporting corporate finance, corporate development activities as well as legal matters with the Board, employees and shareholders (including corporate events such as AGMs, capital increases, share register management);
• Being responsible for privacy and data protection topics.

• Master’s degree in law from a Swiss university or equivalent education abroad;
• Experience in a legal function in the financial industry, preferably in trading, settlement or banking;
• Excellent command both orally and written of German and English is mandatory;
• Pragmatic, business- and detail-oriented approach with an entrepreneurial mindset;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under time pressure and in flexible hours;
• Open-minded, solution-oriented can-do attitude with team spirit and endurance;
• Experience in an international legal or consulting firms is an advantage;
• Active interest and experience in technology and digital assets is a plus.
