At Picnic, we’re revolutionizing the way people buy groceries with our innovative and sustainable app-only service. We do almost everything in-house, developing smart technologies and processes to ensure we continue to grow rapidly without missing a beat. We are looking for an enthusiastic product photographer to join our team. If you’re the hands-on photographer, with experience in handling in-house photography processes, we are looking for you!

🥜 In a nutshell

We believe our assortment deserves to look at its best in the app.That's why we don't settle for supplier images or standard packshots. We shoot beautiful images in our own photo studios. Our product images should not only be recognisable, they should also inspire our customers. You’ll be part of an international team, responsible for product presentation in the French Picnic app. Working together with our experienced photographers, photo retouchers and category managers, you make sure that our customers will only see best-in-class product photos.

For precision : this is a short term contract of 1 year with a possible extension.

🎯 Your missions

  • Have responsibility for the photography process, ensuring all deliverables are finished on time
  • Capture quality images that align with Picnic's guideline standards, as well as experiment with new photography to improve our strategy
  • Shoot multiple products across a variety of categories, at least 125 products per week
  • Handle high-volume studio workflow in an efficient manner
  • Ensure all images are correctly configured in our systems
  • Brainstorm and contribute creative ideas to improve our product photos
  • Order and manage necessary products, camera tools, props and studio equipment

⭐ About you

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in studio or product photography
  • Degree in a relevant photography/design school
  • Demonstrated experience in handling in-house photography processes
  • Inspiring portfolio with product photography examples
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for visually representing products and food
  • Well-organized, ability to work on multiple tasks in a given period
  • Can-do mentality: you tackle projects, targets and deadlines with enthusiasm and flexibility
  • Good English communication skills, verbal and written
