Picnic is a human-centered brand in a digital world. We provide a better way to help every family enjoy good food every day—affordable, hassle-free, and sustainable. We cut out the unnecessary, so they can enjoy the essential.

In the rush of daily life, Picnic puts smiles on people's faces with its authentic and innocent style. Our playful and non-gimmicky qualities ensure our communication resonates on a personal level, building trust in a lighthearted way and adding a subtle dose of delight to everyday life.

Are you a passionate design student nearing the end of your studies? We’re offering you the opportunity to join our team as a Visual Design Intern at our Amsterdam HQ. This internship is perfect for someone who’s eager to gain hands-on experience in shaping the visual direction of Picnic’s campaigns and in-app promotions.

Note: this is not a UX/UI design job.

🥜 In a nutshell

At Picnic, we are always looking to create the best shopping experience for our customers, by making it as easy as possible to find the right products, while also inspiring them to try something new. At the design level, there is the continuous challenge of the small design space, as everything must fit in a small screen. The store team is responsible for doing just that: improving the shopping experience, telling Picnic's story and showing the right campaigns at the right time, to make sure customers stick.

As a Visual Design Intern, you’ll join a talented team of designers, store managers, promo coordinators, and copywriters. Together, we create engaging campaigns that showcase our assortment and drive conversion. You’ll gain hands-on experience in developing campaign visuals, preparing photoshoots, and contributing to Picnic’s unique visual identity.
