Tasks

As an incident readiness intern, you will be working with the team helping companies face crisis and incidents by preparing their response and strategies in case of cyber and non-cyber emergencies. You will help create the governance and example material for a company to get started on their Operation Resilience journey: from the creation of their Crisis & Incident Management Plans and Playbooks, to the definition of their Business Impact Analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Help create and develop tabletop and simulation scenarios.
  • Create the materials for the exercises (injects, videos, templates, and more.)
  • Help develop templates for crisis management plans, incident response plans, playbooks and business continuity plans.
  • Conduct research on current trends and best practices in tabletop exercises and simulations.
  • Collaborate with the team to understand reporting requirements and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the exercises and post-exercise reports.
  • Analyze the exercise data to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement in organizational preparedness and execution of the exercises.

Output of Internship:
The intern will have the chance to learn about the latest trends and best practices in the crisis and incident response realm. Given the nature of the field, the intern will develop their problem-solving, decision-making, communication skills. Finally, they will have the opportunity to collaborate with professionals in the field and expand their network within the industry.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Crisis Management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in M365 tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint…)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to details.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently but still with guidance.
