Tasks

  • Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity strategies for autonomous driving systems, ensuring compliance with ISO/SAE 21434 and other relevant standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and threat analyses (TARA) to identify vulnerabilities and propose effective mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cybersecurity requirements into system architectures, software, and hardware.
  • Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practices for the organization.
  • Implement and monitor security controls to ensure robust protection against cyber threats and attacks.
  • Participate in the validation and testing of cybersecurity measures, ensuring resilience against emerging threats.
  • Stay informed on the latest cybersecurity trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve defense mechanisms.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors, auditors, and regulators to ensure compliance and alignment with industry standards.
  • Provide training and awareness programs to educate internal teams on cybersecurity principles and practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in cybersecurity engineering, particularly in automotive or embedded systems.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO/SAE 21434, UNR 155, and related cybersecurity regulations and standards.
  • Expertise in risk assessment, TARA, and vulnerability management methodologies.
  • Proficiency in security protocols, cryptography, and secure software development practices.
  • Familiarity with automotive networks (CAN, Ethernet, etc.) and in-vehicle communication protocols.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex security challenges.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A collaborative and proactive mindset, capable of working effectively in cross-functional teams.

Would be a plus

  • German language skills
  • Experience in Autonomous Driving
