• Participate in all safety-related activities on system, hardware and software level
• Support internal and external compliance efforts required by relevant UNECE regulations and ISO standards (ISO 26262, ISO 21448)
• Create and align concepts and work products to evaluate and improve system safety, as well as tracking and validation
• Coordinate with distributed teams for managing safety and security scope during software development activities.
• Support in the definition of tests and the creation of safety plans
• Assess technology proposals from external suppliers w.r.t. meeting risk management design objectives.
• Develop and maintain expertise in automotive best practices for safety and security
• Completed studies in the field of computer science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, mathematics, or a comparable field of study.
• Previous work in automotive product development and experience with hardware/software architectures, integration and testing
• Familiarity with automotive safety standards (e.g. ISO 26262)
• Ability to produce formal documentation to a highly professional standard
• Attention to quality, reliability and safety
• Independent and systematic approach to solving novel problems
• Willingness to learn with a healthy drive to understand and solve complex system-level problems
• High level of communication and teamwork skills as the role requires interaction with cross functional teams.

• Experience with implementation of modules with AUTOSAR or MISRA-C guidelines
