Tasks

  • Enroll in our ongoing product and process development & optimization projects.
  • Work with pilot-scale bioreactors, upstream and downstream equipment and utilities.
  • Plan trials, prepare materials, and ensure proper sterilization.
  • Conduct in-process control during fermentation trials and downstream processes.
  • Perform process sampling and support IPC lab analytics.
  • Adhere to and suggest improvements for existing SOPs and guidelines.
  • Follow and ensure equipment cleaning, verification, maintenance, and calibration plans.
  • Ensure full process traceability, including maintaining detailed trial records and logs.

Requirements

  • Degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biochemical or Bioprocess Engineering, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the biotechnology field (proven working or academic experience is also accepted).
  • Strong understanding of bioreactor fermentation process design and operation.
  • Proficiency in controlling project timelines and ensuring timely completion of bioprocessing projects. Experience in managing is a plus.
  • Understanding the GMP and Lean principles and their potential to optimize bioprocessing workflows.
  • Analytical and creative thinking.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural team.
  • Availability to work in shifts.
  • Passionate about sustainability and improving our food system.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written).
