Tasks
- Enroll in our ongoing product and process development & optimization projects.
- Work with pilot-scale bioreactors, upstream and downstream equipment and utilities.
- Plan trials, prepare materials, and ensure proper sterilization.
- Conduct in-process control during fermentation trials and downstream processes.
- Perform process sampling and support IPC lab analytics.
- Adhere to and suggest improvements for existing SOPs and guidelines.
- Follow and ensure equipment cleaning, verification, maintenance, and calibration plans.
- Ensure full process traceability, including maintaining detailed trial records and logs.
Requirements
- Degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biochemical or Bioprocess Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the biotechnology field (proven working or academic experience is also accepted).
- Strong understanding of bioreactor fermentation process design and operation.
- Proficiency in controlling project timelines and ensuring timely completion of bioprocessing projects. Experience in managing is a plus.
- Understanding the GMP and Lean principles and their potential to optimize bioprocessing workflows.
- Analytical and creative thinking.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural team.
- Availability to work in shifts.
- Passionate about sustainability and improving our food system.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written).
