For our client, a luxury hotel located in Zurich, we are currently seeking an experienced
Assistant Director of F&B Operations
Tasks
- Ensure smooth operations across F&B outlets (Restaurant Saltz, Canvas Bar & Lounge, Room Service), including hands on support and occasional deputizing for department heads
- Lead and inspire teams by example, with a focus on continuous development through training initiatives
- Develop and implement innovative F&B offerings to boost revenue
- Continuously optimize service processes to increase both guest and employee satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and monitor scheduling and deployment plans
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost management in close collaboration with relevant departments
Requirements
- Completed education or degree in hospitality or F&B management
- Several years of leadership experience, ideally in an international setting and with similar operational scope
- Hands on mentality with a strong service and guest orientation
- Excellence in quality management and solution-driven approach
- Analytical mindset and solid understanding of business economics
- Strong communication skills with confident and professional demeanor
- Creativity and innovative spirit combined with a results-oriented attitude
- EU/EFTA-passport or a valid work permit (C or B) for Switzerland
