Managing Director (m/f/d)
for the Mauser Group member “Kremann & Esser GmbH & Co. KG”, site Kierspe (Sauerland)
Tasks
Technical, operational, and finance management of K&E incl.
- Budgeting on a yearly base incl. regular forecast updates
- capacity planning and adjustment
- employee and organizational development
- process development
- Control and follow up on project timelines
Purchase negotiations and maintain supplier contacts
- Leading a team of experts to build blow molding and injection molding molds;
- Continuously optimizing the production cost and efficiency and upgrading the mold designs with the latest technology to enable MPS to stay a frontrunner in the packaging industry based on the process and its efficiency.
- Develop strategy in the current changing automotive industry, including needed investments with ROI calculations
- Reporting the monthly results incl. tax topics, BWA, and the annual financial statements.
- Identify earnings improvement projects (EIPs), best practices, and standards and support their transfer/implementation to other plants.
Develop a task force within the MIPS network to reduce the lead time of a mold ordering and approval process, ensuring that all mold optimizations are “captured” and secured for the next mold order.
Sales Tasks:
- Building a strong relationship with external customers and internal MPS customers;
- Acquisition of new customers and active market cultivation (internal/external)
- Pre-calculation, offer preparation, and contract negotiations with customers for new molds
- After calculations to verify the actual margins on each project
- Ensure proper customer service and technical support
Requirements
- University/business school degree in engineering;
- Hands-on approach, implementations focussed, and enthusiastic attitude.
- Proven Sales skills;
- Very good project management and communication skills;
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
- Proven experience in a matrix organization
- Experienced (10+ years) in extrusion blow moulding and injection molding processes and equipment, preferably in the toolmaker packaging industry
- Willingness to travel
- English and German (both fluently)
