As a QA Automation Engineer at Kickbase (located in Osijek or any other Croatian city), your role is central to ensuring the seamless functionality and user experience of our products. You’ll be collaborating with a diverse, cross-functional team, focusing on automating and streamlining our testing processes.

What You’ll Do

Comprehensive Test Automation: Develop and maintain our test automation frameworks, ensuring a high standard of software quality from start to finish

• Collaborative Quality Improvement: Partner with developers, designers, and product managers to identify and resolve software issues, contributing to superior product functionality and user experience
• Champion of Quality Standards: Uphold and advance our commitment to quality, playing a pivotal role in the continuous enhancement of our testing procedures
• Proactive Problem-Solving: Utilize your problem-solving prowess to address and resolve complex testing challenges, enhancing the reliability and efficiency of our products
• Innovation in Automation: Embrace the philosophy of continuous improvement to advance our testing methodologies, focusing on automation and efficiency to streamline quality assurance

Your Responsibilities

• Automated Testing Strategy & Execution: Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Integration and Collaboration: Work closely with the development team to integrate automated testing into the development lifecycle, promoting a culture of quality from the outset
• Continuous Integration and Deployment: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, ensuring efficient and reliable software builds and deployments
• Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor software performance, identifying and addressing bottlenecks to ensure optimal functionality
• Security and Compliance: Incorporate security best practices into testing procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards

What You Bring

• Experienced QA Professional: At least 3+ years of hands-on experience in QA Automation, working with multiple product development teams
• Strong understating of Java or C#, and experience with Appium + Selenium for mobile automation
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Analytical Thinker: Strong analytical skills to design comprehensive test plans and identify software defects
• Continuous Improvement Advocate: Passion for enhancing testing workflows and keen to contribute innovative ideas
• Team Player: A collaborative mindset, thriving in a team environment and contributing to collective success
• Location: You are located preferably in Osijek or any other Croatian city

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services
• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent teamwork skills
• Effective communication skills in English for interacting with different teams and stakeholders
