– Curation of ACID’s monthly multi-roaster program, including sample selection, cupping, and final decisions.
– Constant dialogue with roasters, producers, and sourcing partners.
– Monthly internal cuppings and tastings with staff across both cities.
– Quality control protocols in both Berlin shops.
– Designing and leading coffee trainings and ongoing education for the team.
– Supporting baristas in technique, knowledge and development.
– Collaborating closely with the leadership team in both Madrid and Berlin.
– Occasional travel to origin, trade shows, and between cities
– Proven experience in specialty coffee, with a deep understanding of sourcing, extraction, and sensory analysis.
– Strong communication skills — written, verbal, interpersonal — in English (German or Spanish are a plus).
– Someone highly organized, adaptable, and confident in taking decisions.
– Ability to teach, lead and motivate a team with calm and clarity.
– A sense of responsibility, but also openness and curiosity.
– Based in Berlin (or willing to relocate)
