For our client, an international company located near city centre of Prague, we are looking for a Category Brand Manager.

You’ll lead the development of consumer-centric strategies, brand equity building, and go-to-market execution while collaborating with cross-functional teams across the business.

Tasks

  • Manage the cycle projects to translate the Category strategy on the Market. Drive the project implementation in coordination & collaboration with the company internal stakeholders and external agencies.
  • Monitor and drive performance and initiate measures in case of deviations from the project plan and following changed parameters.
  • Contribute to the commercial planning process and proactive involvement in pricing, forecasting, deployment plans and distribution
  • Identify and understand market trends in close collaboration with SP&I. Analyze market data and monitor consumer behaviors to build market relevant insights. Identify opportunities for the brand on the respective market and interfere with the appropriate marketing action.
  • Contribute to portfolio management, identify portfolio gaps based on market trends, analyze portfolio performance and recommend optimizations where needed
  • Plan and monitor the brand budgets to include counter measures to be taken in case of deviations. Coordinate and implement counter measures for optimum usage of resources.
  • Support the superior in the guidance and evaluation of agencies. Brief and coordinate agencies in the implementation of assigned brand projects to promote the brand.
  • Represent the brand as a brand ambassador on internal panels. Represent the brand concerns within the company and proactively share best practice within the area of Brand Marketing.
  • Coach executives and trainees and conduct know-how transfer for new staff members of the Brand/Category Marketing team.

Requirements

  • University degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing
  • Previous work experinece (min. 3 years) from corporte - FMCG or retail companies as an Category or Brand Manager
  • Great flexibility: Working on short-notice timing inherent to the dynamic market environment
  • Fluent in English
  • Basic knowledge / experience with team leadership
  • Experience in project management
  • A feel for brands / consumers
  • Outstanding analytical, conceptual, and strategic skills
  • Very good communication skillsDrive & ownership
  • Czech citizenship or valid work permit in the Czech Republic
