The role

Heavnn is a startup providing a Global Tax Management platform to location-independent workers (digital nomads, expatriates, business travelers…) and online businesses.

We are looking for a founding Business Development Specialist to play a key role in shaping and operating Heavnn’s commercial activities.

This is a builder role for someone who wants to work close to the business, take responsibility for outcomes, and contribute to how commercial opportunities are generated and scaled over time.

Tasks

Why do we need you?

You’ll own and operate Business Development–driven revenue initiatives, and contribute to the design and execution of Heavnn’s broader commercial motion.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Commercial growth initiatives

  • Initiating and developing commercial opportunities
  • Engaging with prospects and partners throughout the sales cycle
  • Contributing to deal structuring and conversion

  • Partnerships and external relationships

  • Identifying and developing strategic commercial relationships
  • Activating and managing partnerships with a revenue focus
  • Representing Heavnn within relevant ecosystems

  • Commercial execution & operations

  • Running and improving BD-led commercial processes
  • Tracking performance and learning from outcomes
  • Participating in the structuring of tools, workflows, and reporting

You’ll operate in close collaboration with the Marketing function and our CEO, with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility for results.

Requirements

What will you need to be successful in the role?

  • 3-7 years of experience in a role related to Growth, Sales, or Business Development.
  • Fluency and very good level in English (Strong C1, or C2 level), spoken and written. Fluent Spanish, French or German would be a plus.
  • You are bold, have a hacking mindset, and are ready to leave the beaten path to solve challenges.
  • You balance intuition with data to identify, leverage, and optimize opportunities.
  • You’re a fast learner and you know how to get yourself up-to-speed on new topics.

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience in a startup or early-stage environment
  • Previous exposure to fintech, legaltech, traveltech, or similarly complex products
  • Experience working with international or remote-first audiences

You might come from an early-stage startup role, sales, business development, partnerships, or a generalist commercial position — what matters most is your ability to operate in ambiguity and build from first principles.
