About Eucalyptus
Eucalyptus (or 'Euc' for short) is an Australian founded digital healthcare company that is on a mission to solve the world’s biggest healthcare challenges - think fertility, and behavioural change around chronic conditions such as weight loss, diabetes, and mental health.
Founded in Australia in 2019, we have now helped over 500K patients globally by combining technology, design and operational excellence to help patients access the best clinical support when they need it - wherever they are.
Our 4 brands (Juniper, Pilot, Kin & Software) focus heavily on personalising the experience for different demographics and are powered by a growing team across 5 countries (Australia, UK, Germany, Japan, and the Philippines).
We’ve raised over AUD$150M in funding from Aussie and Silicon Valley investors who were early backers of Uber, Canva and AirBnb. With plans to launch into several more markets, offline channels, and tackle new conditions.
We’re looking to continue building our team of executional weapons who are passionate about healthcare, aren’t afraid to work hard, and invest in others through direct and honest feedback. This approach enables us to make the most impactful changes to improve the health of millions of patients globally.

About the role (what you’ll do)
A Health Coach is a critical capability for Eucalyptus in supporting our patients towards their health-related goals and outcomes. This is achieved by creating long-term engagement and relationships with our patients.
In this role you will be the primary interaction point with these patients on our Weight program. They are trusting us to support their health journey. The primary responsibility for the Health Coach will be managing the communications process and engagement for our patients, end to end, via community management, group and individual patient communications.
The role in short includes:
- Providing general advice and coaching for engagement in group and individual communications (think nutrition and movement advice, behavioural changes and meal plans)
- Patient community management and moderation
- Triaging, responding to and escalating communications from patients to other functions in the German and Global teams
- Directing patient queries and feedback to the relevant internal channel
- Reporting to a Operations and Strategy Lead and being an active team player
- Our team is small, so you may also become involved in other functions and support where needed
In this role you will work with our clinical team, international operations team and delivery partners to ensure our patients receive a high quality of support and care.
This role requires a high level of empathy, the ability to prioritise simultaneous activities and communications with multiple patients while ensuring high attention to detail, and a patient-centric-oriented approach.
You will be interacting directly with real people dealing with real health issues and medical diagnoses and must be able to identify, respond to, and escalate interactions and situations appropriately in accordance with guidelines and for exceptions.
This role will be important to the continued success of Eucalyptus and will filter important information back through the rest of the team so we can continue to improve the health of our patients.
