About the role
As the Team Lead Sales for Europe, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting sales operations across your assigned region. This role plays a vital part in ensuring Cropster’s sales strategies are followed effectively and that goals are consistently achieved. You will work closely with a team of Outbound Sales and Account Managers, craft regional sales plans, and foster strong relationships with key industry stakeholders to strengthen Cropster’s market presence.
What you'll do
- Guide and Support the Regional Sales Team: Lead, coach, and empower a team of Outbound Sales and Account Managers, providing ongoing encouragement, support, and collaboration to help them achieve their individual and collective goals.
- Develop Regional Sales Plans: Create thoughtful, flexible regional sales strategies that align with Cropster’s broader goals, tailoring them to meet the specific needs of your region and its customers.
- Grow Market Reach: Build and nurture meaningful relationships with industry partners, decision-makers, and influencers to enhance Cropster’s visibility and influence within the region.
- Analyze and Adapt to Market Changes: Continuously observe market trends, customer behaviors, and competitor movements. Adjust your strategies with care to remain responsive and maintain Cropster’s strong standing.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner closely with internal teams such as Marketing, Product Management, and Strategy to ensure a unified and collaborative approach to sales efforts. Share insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Set and Achieve Sales Goals: Establish clear, realistic goals for your region, monitor progress regularly, and collaborate with your team to address challenges and celebrate successes.
- Report on Sales Performance: Provide regular updates and detailed reports to senior management, focusing on successes, growth opportunities, and any challenges within the region.
- Engage Actively in Sales: In addition to leading your team, manage a personal portfolio of clients to contribute to enterprise sales and help achieve broader business objectives.
We are looking for someone with
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in sales, including at least 3 years in a leadership role, ideally within the B2B software or coffee industry.
- Deep understanding of the coffee industry, including supply chain management, market trends, and customer needs.
- Proven ability to coach, guide, and support a high-performing sales team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to transform market insights into meaningful strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
That said, we’d be particularly delighted to hire someone with
- Experience working in a remote or globally distributed team, with the ability to manage teams across different time zones and cultural contexts.
- Familiarity with advanced sales tools and analytics software, such as CRM systems and data analysis platforms.
- A well-established network within the coffee industry, including relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
