About the role
As an Outbound Sales Manager for Cropster, your primary objective is to drive sales across all Cropster product lines, including Cropster Cafe, by actively engaging with cafes, roasteries, and wholesale businesses throughout the APAC region. This role is heavily focused on outbound sales activities, where you will generate leads, build relationships, and convert potential clients into long-term partners. Your mission is to excite customers about our solutions, assess their needs, and make sure they get the best possible support from Cropster.
What you'll do
- Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Create and execute robust sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets within the APAC region.
- Outbound Sales Activities: Actively research the market for leads, decision-makers, and partners. Engage in outbound activities, including cold calling, emailing, attending industry events, and visiting prospects to generate and qualify new leads.
- Lead Generation and Activation: Collaborate with the commercial team to identify and activate potential customers, with a focus on high annual contract value (ACV) key accounts. Assess their needs, negotiate contracts, and schedule onboarding plans.
- Build and Maintain Client Relationships: Develop strong, lasting relationships with clients, ensuring they understand and appreciate the full value of Cropster’s product offerings.
- CRM Management: Utilize CRM tools like Hubspot to track leads, manage the sales pipeline, and ensure consistent follow-up from initial contact through to order completion.
- Market Representation: Represent Cropster at industry events, workshops, and through direct client interactions, pitching our product lines and building brand presence.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Account Managers, and Product Management teams to align strategies, share customer feedback, and refine sales processes.
- Sales Reporting: Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and insights to senior management, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
We are looking for someone with
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field will be desired.
- Experience in sales, preferably in the B2B software or specialty coffee industry.
- A deep understanding of the specialty coffee market and its unique challenges.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with a proven ability to persuade and close deals.
- A self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently and manage a demanding sales pipeline.
- Fluency in English, Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) and ideally another language.
That said, we’d be particularly delighted to hire someone with
- Experience using CRM tools and sales software, particularly Hubspot.
- Previous experience working in a remote or flexible work environment.
- Passion for specialty coffee and an understanding of coffee roasting processes.
- Experience in coffee wholesale, espresso machine service, or coffee education.
