Accountant - Part time

This role is based in Munich with 20h working hours per week

Accounts Payable:

• Process and manage all accounts payable invoices using accounting software/tools
• Execute supplier payments in a timely and accurate manner
• Perform regular bank reconciliations
• Maintain and monitor the Accounts Payable ageing report
• Track and book company credit card expenses

General Ledger:

• Prepare month-end accruals
• Post journal entries and perform general ledger account reconciliations

Additional Responsibilities:

• Manage travel expense tool (Bizaway)
• Assist with general administrative tasks within the finance team
• Support the month-end close process

• Degree in Finance or Accounting (Bachelor’s or Master’s)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a service-oriented environment
• Solid understanding of German GAAP (HGB); IFRS knowledge is a plus
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, SAP B1)
• Familiarity with German tax regulations, especially VAT
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Detail-oriented with a hands-on attitude and strong organizational skills
• Able to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
• Fluency in English required; German is a plus
