Tasks
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based APIs using Java 8-11, Spring, and related technologies in a Microservices ecosystem.
- Ensure the creation of high-quality, efficient, and scalable APIs, adhering to best development practices.
. Develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) to evaluate and validate new API solutions and design patterns.
Work with API composition, Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) architecture, and API Gateway for effective API management and communication between services.
Design Java services and components that are robust and well-integrated within a microservices environment.
- Write clean, maintainable code, and ensure best writing practices are followed to promote code quality and scalability.
- Document APIs using standards such as Swagger and OpenAPI, and ensure proper formatting in JSON and YAML.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of APIs within the overall architecture.
- Continuously monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance and reliability of APIs.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in API development and microservices architecture.
- Ensure that the API documentation is comprehensive, up-to-date, and accessible to all stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Sciences.
- Proficient Level of English (spoken and written).
- Strong experience in Java development (Java 8-11).
- Proficiency with the Spring framework.
- Experience in using Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment.
- Familiarity with writing clean code and best development practices.
- Experience with Java Persistence API (JPA) and Hibernate for database management.
