We are seeking a talented VP of Operations Development to join our dynamic team in Berlin.

Your tasks

We are seeking a smart, driven, and ambitious VP of Operations to join our team in Berlin. As a key member of the management team and reporting directly to the CTPO, you will oversee the operational backbone of our fintech services, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and scalability in our processes. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and optimizing our operations to support our growth in the fintech space. This includes:

• Owning the development and execution of operational strategies that align with company OKRs and drive efficient processes across departments.
• Managing the end-to-end operations of our FinTech products and services, ensuring they meet regulatory, security, and customer satisfaction standards.
• Overseeing compliance, risk management, and operational controls to meet industry standards and maintain a secure environment for our users.
• Leading cross-functional projects and process improvements to enhance scalability, reduce costs, and streamline workflows

Requirements

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in senior roles within fintech, financial services, or consumer-facing industries, ideally within a high-growth startup or technology-driven environment. You should have a proven track record of building and optimizing operations to support complex, regulated financial products.

• You bring a hands-on mentality and are prepared to work on both strategic and operational tasks.
• You have a solid understanding of fintech operations, regulatory requirements, and risk management practices.
• You are an excellent communicator who is able to coordinate across departments and align stakeholders on operational priorities.
• You are highly trustworthy, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• You are fluent in English and, ideally, German (C2) and have excellent communication skills.
• A skill set that includes project management, strategic thinking, and an analytical approach, combined with a hands-on mentality, is essential.
