We are seeking a talented VP of Product Development to join our dynamic team in Berlin.

Your tasks

We are seeking a smart, driven, and ambitious VP of Product Development to join our team in Berlin. As a member of the management team and a direct report to the CTPO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction and scalability of our products. You will lead a team of engineers and work cross-functionally to ensure smooth delivery and continuous improvement of our technology. This includes:

• Owning the development of the long-term technical strategy and aligning it with company OKRs to support innovation and scalability.
• Driving product development and release cycles to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of features that align with business objectives.
• Overseeing infrastructure and system architecture to support stable, secure, and efficient performance.
• Fostering a collaborative, agile development environment to encourage team growth, learning, and optimal productivity.

Requirements

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in senior roles within fintech, financial services, or consumer-facing industries, ideally within a high-growth startup or technology-driven environment. You should have a proven track record of building and optimizing operations to support complex, regulated financial products.

• You have a hands-on mentality and are ready to work on both strategic and operational tasks.
• You have deep expertise in software development processes, infrastructure management, and modern technologies.
• You are a strong communicator who can bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders across departments.
• You are highly trustworthy, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• You are fluent in English and ideally in German (C2), with excellent communication skills.
• A strong skill set in project management, strategic thinking, and data-driven decision-making, combined with an analytical mindset and hands-on approach, is needed.
