Tasks
We are looking for a Temporary Accountant & Finance Manager to support our finance operations during a key transition period. This role is ideal for someone who is immediately available, detail-oriented, and experienced in import-focused businesses in Indonesia.
You will manage our day-to-day finance operations — from bookkeeping and supplier payments to VAT compliance and reporting — and ensure continuity while we prepare for a permanent hire.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
📘 Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger
- Record and reconcile all transactions (local & international)
- Issue sales invoices and track receivables
- Handle multi-currency transactions
💸 Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Monitor customer payments and manage supplier payouts
- Track imports and allocate costs to inventory
📊 Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Provide financial insights to support management decisions
📑 Tax & Compliance
- File VAT (PPN), PPh 21, PPh 23, and Corporate Income Tax
- Work with local tax consultants to ensure compliance
📦 Import Costing & Inventory
- Allocate landed costs (duties, freight, clearance fees, etc.)
- Manage accurate COGS and inventory valuation
- Reconcile stock in Zoho Inventory
💻 Zoho System Oversight
- Ensure data accuracy in Zoho Books & Inventory
- Identify system improvements to boost efficiency
📁 Internal Controls & Payroll
- Support payroll, BPJS, and expense reimbursements
- Uphold internal controls and SOPs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or similar
- 5+ years experience in full-cycle accounting
- Strong knowledge of import taxation, landed cost accounting, and Indonesian compliance
- Proficient in Zoho Books / Inventory (or similar systems)
- Fluent in Bahasa, and comfortable in working English
- Highly organized, proactive, and reliable
- Immediate availability preferred
