Network Engineer (m/w/d)

Our client—an established leader in business consulting—is seeking a motivated and skilled Network Engineer (m/f/d), 80–100%, to join their dynamic team in Zurich. • Configure and install a wide range of network devices and services including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and QoS solutions

• Implement and manage Palo Alto SD-WAN and GlobalProtect VPN with Prisma Access to ensure optimal performance and security

• Perform ongoing network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, and security updates

• Monitor network performance proactively and resolve connectivity issues to ensure system reliability and minimal downtime

• Collaborate with IT teams to enhance network performance and maintain detailed documentation of all configurations and procedures

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering with deep knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and network security principles

• Practical experience with Palo Alto ION or CloudGenix SD-WAN; experience in Azure cloud networking is a plus

• Familiarity with tools like SolarWinds Orion for monitoring and fault management

• Strong troubleshooting skills paired with excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Relevant certifications (e.g. CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are an advantage
