2 Open China Ecommerce (part of Thinkia Group) helps international brands scale in China through marketplaces and social commerce. We’re looking for a hands-on Junior Account Manager based in Shanghai to support marketplace operations (Tmall/天猫, JD/京东), Douyin/抖音 & Xiaohongshu/小红书, campaign execution and client reporting.
Tasks
- Manage day-to-day operations of client storefronts on Chinese marketplaces (Tmall, JD) and social platforms (Douyin, Xiaohongshu).
- Optimize product listings (copy, keywords, A+ pages) and monitor pricing, promotions and stock.
- Execute and monitor performance campaigns (DSP, P4P, Douyin ads), track KPIs and suggest improvements.
- Coordinate logistics, cross-border shipments and local fulfillment partners.
- Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports and present insights to clients.
- Liaise with creative, customer service and influencer teams to implement local activations.
- Assist in onboarding new clients and maintaining client communication.
Requirements
- 1–3 years experience in e-commerce or marketplace operations (China experience required).
- Practical experience with at least one Chinese marketplace (Tmall/JD/Douyin/Xiaohongshu).
- Mandarin fluent (spoken & written) and professional English.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; strong Excel skills; familiarity with analytics tools (Power BI / Google Analytics / basic SQL a plus).
- Knowledge of local payments (WeChat Pay/Alipay) and cross-border logistics.
- Based in Shanghai with valid work permit / right to work in China.
- Organized, client-facing, able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
