2 Open China Ecommerce (part of Thinkia Group) helps international brands scale in China through marketplaces and social commerce. We are looking for a Senior Account Manager E-commerce based in Shanghai to lead operations, performance, and reporting for key accounts across Tmall/天猫, JD/京东, Douyin/抖音, and Xiaohongshu/小红书.
Tasks
- Lead day-to-day store and campaign operations (planning, prioritization, execution quality).
- Optimize assortment and listings: copy, keywords/SEO, A+ pages, pricing, promotions, and stock health.
- Manage and optimize performance campaigns (DSP, P4P, Douyin Ads): ROAS, GMV, CAC, conversion.
- Coordinate internal teams and partners (creative, customer service, KOL/influencers, logistics/fulfillment).
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports and QBRs; present insights and action plans to clients.
- Support new client onboarding and continuously improve SOPs/processes (and mentor juniors if applicable).
Requirements
- STRICT K.O. REQUIREMENT: More than 3 years of proven e-commerce experience. If you do not meet >3 years, you will not be considered.
- Hands-on China experience on at least 2 of these platforms: Tmall / JD / Douyin / Xiaohongshu.
- Fluent Mandarin (spoken & written) and professional English.
- Strong Excel and analytics skills (Power BI/GA; basic SQL is a plus).
- Solid knowledge of China e-commerce ecosystem: major shopping festivals, payments (Alipay/WeChat Pay), and logistics (cross-border/local).
- Highly organized, client-facing, able to manage multiple workstreams under tight deadlines.
- Based in Shanghai with a valid work permit / right to work in China.
