Wunder Mobility powers shared mobility operators at scale: 20M+ trips per year, 50M+ daily API calls, hundreds of cities. Trusted by operators like Forest, GreenMobility, and JOCO.
We are hiring an Experienced Data Analyst to help build a new insights product used by operators to take immediate action. Not a flood of dashboards, but high-signal, operationally relevant insights. You’ll join a focused team of three and shape how operators understand their users, revenues, fleets, and performance.
You will be measured on insight quality, data accuracy, operational impact, and automation improvements.
Tasks
- Work closely with Product and Engineering to design, build, and iterate on a new data insights product for operators. Prioritizing clarity, actionability, and minimal noise
- Translate our domain model (trips, revenue, availability, tasks, operational workflows) into intuitive, connected insights customers can act on
- Own key data modeling and data quality improvements: collaborate with engineering to update preprocessing scripts and expose clean, analysis-ready data in Snowflake
- Build ThoughtSpot worksheets and Liveboards (or equivalent BI artifacts) that drive operator decisions, while keeping the layer simple and maintainable
- Establish data contracts and documentation for core metrics (trip success, availability, task SLAs, billing events, etc.)
- Support internal operational workflows, including the monthly customer billing process (active vehicle counts, usage-based metrics), and progressively automate it
- Partner with Customer Success to validate insight usefulness and feed learnings back into the product
Requirements
What success looks like
90 days
- Understand core domains: trips, revenues, availability, tasks, billing, and fleet access
- Ship first operator-facing insights with validated usefulness (action taken by CS or by operators)
- Identify data gaps and propose improvements to preprocessing models / Snowflake schema
- Stabilize and document the monthly billing data flow
6 months
- Deliver a cohesive set of insights used by operators weekly to improve revenues, availability, reduce operational toil, or increase trip success
- Improve data quality and reliability by updating preprocessing scripts together with Engineering; reduce manual data stitching
- Fully automate or significantly streamline monthly billing
- Publish a metric framework and data dictionary for the insights product
Core KPIs
Accuracy and reliability of the insights surfaced to customers
- Adoption and engagement with delivered dashboards / insights
- Reduction in manual data work across Product, CS, and operators
- Accuracy and timeliness of monthly billing data
- Contribution to data model improvements (Snowflake, preprocessing scripts)
Requirements
- 3–5+ years experience as a Data Analyst or Analytics Engineer in a SaaS or operationally complex domain
- Strong SQL and data modeling skills; Snowflake experience is a plus (ability to collaborate on preprocessing scripts is expected)
- Ability to understand and translate business logic into clean, connected data models
- Experience with BI tools like ThoughtSpot, Looker, Tableau, etc. (ThoughtSpot is a plus but not required)
- Clear communication and structured thinking. You can explain metric definitions and trade-offs to product managers, engineers, and operators
- Bias for simplicity: you produce fewer, higher-value insights rather than dashboards for dashboards’ sake
- Experience working with operational teams and supporting recurring internal processes (e.g., billing, revenue reporting, operational metrics)
Benefits
- Direct ownership of a new operator-facing insights product with immediate customer impact
- Influence our data model and pipeline design at the foundation level
- 25 days paid vacation
- 30-day workation once per year
- Hybrid work model: 3 days (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday) in our Banja Luka office, 2 days remote
- Travel for team workshops or operator sessions as needed
