As a company specializing in REDOX Flow Batteries based on Iron Salt Chemistry, we require a professional with deep expertise in this field or a closely related industry. The main objective of this role is to evolve our supplier portfolio into a fully stablished supply chain, ensuring source assurance and cost efficiency at scale.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Identify new suppliers for high-value industrial goods, electrical components, and balance of plant for energy installations under strategic considerations
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize costs across high-value industrial goods and diverse commodities, ensuring competitive pricing at scale.
• Enhance necessary supplier initiatives that drive cost efficiency and scalability, fostering strong long-term relationships with suppliers eager to engage in new business opportunities with us.
• Work closely with engineering and product management to align procurement decisions with product roadmaps and cost-out initiatives.
• Analyze and refine Bills of Materials for new and existing products, driving supplier negotiations to achieve cost savings.

Anforderungen

• Background in Engineering or Business with a Technical Training.
• Minimum of 5-10 years in strategic procurement, preferably in Batteries environment, Chemistry Engineering, or a similar technology.
• Strong understanding of supplier negotiations, cost structure analysis, and long-term partnership development.
• Demonstrated success in scaling procurement operations and supplier networks in previous roles.
• Experience working with Balance of Plant (BoP) for energy installations and planning procurement strategies for new product introductions.
