viridiusLAB is a rapidly growing network of testing, environmental, pharmaceutical, and calibration laboratories. The group operates in countries such as Germany, Italy, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Poland, with its headquarters in Vienna.

Since early 2022, viridiusLAB has expanded from 2 to over 55 locations and currently employs around 900 people across Europe.

We are currently seeking a Team Lead Accounting for Italy.

This is a strategic role that involves leading a team of 4 accountants and taking full ownership of the accounting for 9 legal entities in Italy. This role requires close collaboration with our headquarters in Vienna, particularly on topics such as group reporting under IFRS.

• Leading and supporting a team of 4 accountants
• Full responsibility for the accounting of 9 Italian legal entities
• Preparation and oversight of financial statements, monthly/quarterly/annual closings
• Regular group reporting under IFRS in coordination with HQ in Vienna
• Processing and reviewing all accounting transactions including invoices, payroll, accruals, fixed assets, tax filings
• Preparation and monitoring of VAT returns, tax reports, and statutory declarations
• Coordination of internal and external audits
• Managing intercompany reconciliations and reporting packages
• Active participation in system and process improvements within MS Dynamics 365
• Supporting the Country Manager Italy with ad hoc financial tasks

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Auditing
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally with team responsibility
• Strong command of Italian GAAP; knowledge of IFRS is a plus
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations is required
• Solid understanding of tax and accounting regulations
• Fluent in Italian (C1) and professional English (B2–C1)
• Proactive mindset, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across locations and teams
