Tasks
- Develop firmware for the next generation of our industry-leading glasses and eye tracking platform.
- Collaborate with hardware, mechanics, and research teams on cross-functional international projects.
- Contribute to specification, design, and implementation, test and continuous improvement for the products.
- Be part of the embedded software architecture, definition.
- Ensure product quality through code reviews and testing.
- Use state-of-the-art CI/CD tools and methods, such as GitLab and Docker
- Drive projects forward independently
Requirements
What Makes You the Perfect Fit?
- 5+ years of firmware development for microcontrollers.
- Experience on all the stages of development and maintenance.
- Solid foundation of electronics, and knowhow of lab tools (oscilloscope, digital signal analyser)
- Proficient in communication interfaces (SPI, UART, I²C, USB, MIPI).
- Deep understanding of microcontroller architectures (preferably ARM)
- Good written and spoken English
- Basic understanding of machine learning.
- Experience with real-time or time-constrained systems.
- Linux and Python experience.
- Background in software testing and quality.
Nice-to-Haves (that's how you gain extra points):
- Rust development experience.
- Deep knowledge of Machine-learning on microcontrollers.
- ISTQB certification.
- FPGA experience.
- Knowledge of image acquisition and processing.
- Firmware programming experience in highly regulated industries. (aerospace, medical devices, automative)
- Firmware architecture design
- Experience with bootloaders and OTA updates.
- Previous projects with Wireless communications for microcontrollers (IoT).
- Personal engineering projects, passion for this field.
