Junior Commercial Manager

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Junior Commercial Manager to join our team at Value Maritime. As a Junior Commercial Manager, you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling our scrubbers and CO2 capture systems within the Maritime Industry. Your primary responsibility will be to contribute to the sales growth by conducting market analysis, establishing connections with potential clients, and effectively communicating the value proposition of our products.

To strengthen our pragmatic sales team, we are looking for a junior commercial manager who is interested in joining a fast-growing and innovative company that is sustainable by nature with a team that is dedicated to making an impact.

At Value Maritime, we have short communication lines and this role reports to the Commercial Director.

• Conduct thorough market analysis to identify potential clients and understand market trends.
• Improving and updating sales quotation templates.
• Collaborate with our marketing department to develop and update marketing materials.
• Proactively reach out to potential clients and schedule meetings to present and demonstrate our scrubbers and CO2 capture systems.
• Effectively communicate the features, benefits and technical specifications of our products to potential clients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions in the CRM system.
• Prepare and present compelling commercial offers tailored to the specific needs of each client.
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies and achieve sales targets.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and new product developments.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients throughout the sales process.
• Assist in the onboarding process of new clients and ensure a smooth transition to the implementation team.
• Collaborate with internal departments such as Engineering, Project Management and Operations to ensure seamless communication and alignment with client requirements.

• Strong affinity with sales, preferably in the Maritime Industry.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently as well as within a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to travel as required.
