ERP DEVELOPER WITH PYTHON

FUNDACIÓN VALENCIAPORT is a non-profit private organization, with more than 70 employees, located in Valencia (Spain), that provides services to the port and logistics cluster. It is an Applied Research, Innovation, Training and International Cooperation centre dedicated to the design, implementation and execution of R&D&I and consultancy projects specialized in logistics, transport and ports, aimed at improving the competitiveness of companies and institutions in the port logistics sector.

We are looking for an ERP developer in Python (experience with any ERP system is welcome, though Odoo is preferred) with experience in developing, implementing, and customizing business solutions based on ERP platforms. The candidate will also participate in integrating the ERP with other systems, optimizing business processes through technological solutions, and supporting other development needs arising from innovation projects within Fundación Valenciaport.

More precisely, foreseen activities would be:

• Develop and customize ERP modules.

• Integrate the ERP with other systems via API and web services.

• Develop PBIX dashboards connected with the ERP database.

• Optimize business processes through ERP solutions.

• Provide technical support and issue resolution.

• Collaborate with business and consulting teams to improve the user experience.

• Implement code improvements and optimize databases.

• Possibility of participating in research and innovation projects.

• BSc, MSc, or PhD in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Industrial Automation, or similar specialization.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in ERP development.

• Candidates with at least 1 year of experience in Odoo development will be given priority.

• Experience in ERP module development and workflow customization.

• Advanced knowledge of Python, PostgreSQL, JavaScript, and XML.

• Knowledge of system integration via REST/SOAP APIs.

• Experience with PBIX.

• Fluent in English (excellent speaking and writing skills). Minimum level B2 or similar.

• Good communication skills, both oral and written.

• Excellent teamwork skills, strategic thinking, willingness and ability to work with no or little supervision.

• Full time employment contract.
